We got engaged in 2023, and wedding planning hit us fast: vendor quotes, timelines, group chats, and family expectations. What started as excitement quickly became overwhelming.
I watched my wife, Amina, carry the mental load of keeping everything together. As a Product Designer, solving real problems is what I do every day. So I built a simple prototype to help us reach out to vendors faster, stay organized, and actually enjoy the process again.
Then we started hearing the same thing from other couples: “We need this too.” We realized it wasn’t just us. So many couples were planning in chaos and often feeling alone in it.
Rasam is built from lived experience to support couples through both the logistics and the emotions of wedding planning, including the highs, the hard days, and everything in between.
Because planning a wedding should feel like building a life together, not managing a project by yourself.
